Charta Partners LLP (“Charta Partners”) is an executive search firm. Its clients are financial services firms. This privacy policy explains how Charta Partners handles and uses personal information.

Information Collection

The collection of personal information is necessary in order to evaluate individuals as candidates for consideration as part of the executive search process. This information is usually collected directly from the data subject and includes:

• career history
• education
• contact information
• full CVs/resumes

Charta Partners may also collect information about individuals from company websites, LinkedIn, and industry publications. Charta Partners may also collect compensation information from candidates, as well as market views on candidates from third party sources.

Information is collected and used on the basis of “legitimate interest”. If an individual becomes a candidate, engaged in a search process, the basis moves to “consent”.
We do not collect more information than is necessary and we do not use such information for purposes other than those specified.

Using & Sharing Information

We use information collected to match a candidate’s skills, experience, education and professional qualifications with a potential employer.

We only provide information collected to select clients for the purposes listed above. We do not use profiling and we do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not use Cookies to collect personal information.

We delete all information no longer deemed necessary.

Information Security

Charta Partners ensures that personal information collected is protected from unauthorised access, loss, manipulation or unauthorised disclosure. This is done via appropriate IT and security measures.

Access to Information

Individuals have the right to request access to the information that we hold about them. This can be done by emailing us at privacy@chartapartners.com. Charta Partners may ask individuals to verify their identity before processing this request.

If an individual believes that the information that we hold about them is incorrect then he/she is welcome to contact us so that Charta Partners can update the information and keep it accurate.
